How It Works

From Stopped to Driving: the Whole Job

The full journey with Emergency Mobile Tire Repair: the call, the ETA, arrival, inspection, the three outcomes, payment, and afterwards. It covers tire jobs and the roadside extras.

  • What we ask on the call, and what you do not need to know
  • Repair, spare, or replacement: how the technician decides at the car
  • Payment at the time of service, and what to do after you drive away

Before anything else

Get Safe, Then Call

Get the car off the travel lanes if you can, hazards on. On a highway with close traffic, stay belted in the car. The call can wait a minute. Your safety cannot.

Then call (352) 531-6319. We ask three things: where you are, what happened, and whether you have a spare. A mile marker, an exit number, or a nearby business is enough for location.

You do not need to know the tire size or the cause. A sidewall photo, taken safely, gives us the size. If not, the technician reads it at the car.

Step by step

The Journey in Five Steps

  1. 01

    Get safe and call

Off the road, hazards on. Then tell us where you are, what happened, and whether you have a spare.

  2. 02

Hear the plan and the ETA

We confirm the service area, say what is likely, and give an honest ETA when a technician is available.

  3. 03

    We arrive and set up

The technician parks to shield the work where the spot allows, sets hazards, and makes the car stable first.

  4. 04

    We inspect and you decide

Damage location, size, and tire condition point to repair, spare, or replacement. You hear the options and the cost, then choose.

  5. 05

    You pay and drive away

Payment is due at the time of service. You leave on a safe tire, with the next step explained.

In detail

What Happens at Each Stage

On the call

We confirm you are inside the service area, or say honestly if you are not. We ask what you saw or heard: a nail, a bang, a light, or a tire going down over days. We ask about the spare.

Then we say what is likely. A tread puncture may be repairable. A sidewall cut is a replacement. No spare means a repair or a replacement tire, depending on availability. The technician confirms at the car.

The ETA conversation

We do not print arrival times, because they vary by location, traffic, and technician availability. On the call you get an honest ETA. If no technician is available, we say that too. After dispatch, a cancellation may carry a trip fee, which we explain before you commit.

Arrival, set-up, and inspection

The technician positions the van to shield the work where the spot allows, and sets hazards. The ground has to be firm and level enough to jack safely. On a narrow shoulder with close traffic, a tow may become the safer call.

Then the inspection: damage location, puncture size, any sidewall or shoulder damage, and signs the tire was driven flat. A slow leak gets a search for the source: puncture, valve stem, or bead.

The three outcomes and payment

  • Repair on site: a tread puncture within U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association repair limits, on a tire in good condition. It gets a plug and patch repair
  • Spare installed: the tire is not safely repairable and you have a usable spare. It goes on at the pressure printed on it, limits explained
  • Replacement: no safe repair and no usable spare. We help with a replacement tire at the car, depending on size and availability

You hear which outcome applies and what it costs before work starts. This is the moment the estimate becomes the price. Payment is due at the time of service.

Afterwards

  • On a repaired tire: check the pressure in a day or two. A drop is worth a call
  • On a spare: it is a bridge, not a fix. Keep to the limits printed on it and plan a shop visit or a replacement soon
  • A pressure light that stays on may need a short drive to clear on most cars. The pressure light guide explains the patterns

Jobs that are not about a tire

Jump starts, lockouts, and fuel delivery follow the same path: call, honest ETA, arrival, and the work. Tell us the make and model. For fuel, we bring enough to reach the pump, not a full tank.

The three outcomes

Repair, Spare, or Replacement

When it applies

Repair on site
Tread puncture within repair limits, tire in good condition
Spare installed
Tire not safely repairable, usable spare in the car
Replacement tire
Tire not safely repairable, no usable spare, or you choose a new tire

What you drive away on

Repair on site
Your own tire, repaired
Spare installed
The spare, with its speed and distance limits
Replacement tire
A replacement tire, fitted at the car where available

When it is not the answer

Repair on site
Sidewall or shoulder damage, or a tire driven flat
Spare installed
The spare is flat, missing, or the wrong size
Replacement tire
Your size is not available on the day. A tow or a shop may be quicker

The standing disclaimer applies to every column: repair availability depends on tire condition, damage location, tire size, and safety.

Process questions

Questions About the Process

How fast can you arrive?

Response times vary by your location, traffic, and technician availability. You get an honest ETA on the call before dispatch.

Do you repair tires or replace them?

Both, when safe. If a tire can be safely patched or plugged, we repair it on site. Otherwise we install the spare or help with replacement.

What if I cancel after a technician is on the way?

A cancellation after dispatch may carry a trip fee. We explain that on the call before anyone rolls.

What if the technician cannot fix the tire on site?

We say so and help with the next best option: your spare, a replacement where available, or a tow if that is safer.

Why the order matters

What You Get From Doing It This Way

  • Safety comes before the tire

Set-up and a stable car come first, on every job, in every lot or shoulder.

  • The decision waits for the evidence

No repair is promised from a phone description. The technician's inspection decides.

  • You know the next step

Repaired, on the spare, or on a new tire, you leave knowing what to do next.
