Roadside Assistance
Jump Start, Lockout, or Out of Gas? We Come to You
Dead battery, keys locked inside, or an empty tank. Call Emergency Mobile Tire Repair, tell us where you are, and we come to the car. These are the three non-tire roadside services we offer. This page explains what each one includes and what it does not.
- Jump start: we get a car with a drained battery started
- Lockout assistance: we help you get back into your vehicle
- Gas fueling: enough fuel to get you to the pump, not a fill-up
- An honest ETA on the call, depending on technician availability
What this service is
What Roadside Assistance Includes
Roadside assistance here means three specific things. A jump start gets a car with a drained battery running. Lockout assistance gets you back into a vehicle you are locked out of. Gas fueling brings enough fuel to get you to the pump. Each one is a technician coming to where the car sits.
It helps to know what these are not. A jump start does not replace a battery or fix a charging problem. Fuel delivery is a bridge to the nearest station, not a full tank. Lockout help gets a door open. It does not cut or program keys. If your problem is bigger than that, we say so on the call and point you to the right help.
Published hours are on the contact page, and after-hours calls are answered depending on technician availability. We cover Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, and Sumter counties. Outside that? Call anyway.

Three problems
Three Problems, Three Different Fixes
Each one has its own signs, its own fix, and its own point where we are not the right call.
Dead battery
Lights dim or nothing happens when you turn the key. A jump start gets you running so you can drive home or to a shop. If it does not hold, the next step is a battery or charging check.
Locked out
Keys inside, or a key or fob that will not open the door. We help you get back into the vehicle. Have your ID and something that shows the vehicle is yours ready. It makes the visit smoother.
Out of gas
The engine sputtered and died on the shoulder. We bring enough fuel to reach a pump. Tell us whether the car takes gas or diesel and roughly where the nearest station is.
One call for all three
You do not have to diagnose anything. Describe what happened and where you are. We tell you which service fits, or whether something else is the right call.
On the call
What to Tell Us When You Call
A few details change how the visit goes. None of them are required, but each one helps.
Year, make, and model
It tells us how the car starts, where the battery sits, and what getting back into it involves.
Hybrid or push-button start
Hybrids and push-button cars behave differently when the battery is drained. Say so up front.
Where the keys are
In the ignition, on the seat, in the trunk, or lost. Lost keys usually mean a dealer or locksmith, and we tell you honestly.
Gas or diesel
Tell us what the car takes and roughly how far the nearest station is. We bring enough to get you there.
Exactly where you are
An address, a hotel name, a garage level, a mile marker, or a nearby business. Say if you are on a highway shoulder.

If what you describe is not one of these three services, we say so on the call and point you to the right help.
How it works
From Your Call to Moving Again
- 01
Call and describe it
Will not start, locked out, or out of fuel. Where you are and what the car is. That is enough to start.
- 02
We confirm the fix and give an ETA
Jump, lockout, or fuel. If it sounds like something else, we tell you before dispatching. The ETA depends on technician availability.
- 03
We come to the car
Stay with the vehicle where it is safe. Hazards on if you are near traffic. Do not keep cranking, and do not force a door or window.
- 04
You drive away, or you know the next step
The car starts, the door opens, or you have fuel to reach the pump. If a jump does not hold, you hear what to do next.
Side by side
Jump Start, Lockout, or Fuel: What Happens
What each service fixes, what to do while you wait, and the point where it stops being our call.
| Criteria | Jump start | Lockout assistance | Gas fueling |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it fixes | A battery drained by lights, a door left ajar, or a car that sat too long | Keys locked inside, or a key or fob that will not open the door | A tank that ran dry before you reached a station |
| Signs it is this | Dash lights dim or dark, a click or a slow crank when you turn the key | Doors locked, keys visible inside or not responding | Engine sputtered, then died, with the gauge on empty |
| While you wait | Turn off lights and accessories. Do not keep cranking; it drains what is left | Stay with the car. Do not force a window or pry a door | Pull fully off the road, hazards on, stay belted in if traffic is close |
| What we do on site | Jump start the car so it runs | Help you get back into the vehicle | Bring enough fuel to reach the pump |
| When it is not the fix | The car starts then dies, or will not hold a charge. That points to the battery or charging system and a shop | Lost keys, a broken key, or a fob that needs programming. That is a dealer or locksmith | Wrong fuel in the tank, or a car that will not start with fuel in it. That is a shop |

Know before you call
What Helps and What to Avoid While You Wait
When a jump start is not the fix
A jump start works when the battery is drained but healthy. If the lights work but the engine only clicks or cranks slowly, the battery may be too weak. If the car starts and then dies again, the charging system may be the problem. If nothing responds at all, it could be a connection or a different fault.
We can still try the jump. If it does not hold, the next step is a battery or charging check at a shop. We tell you that on site.
While you wait for a jump
- Turn off headlights, the radio, climate fans, and phone chargers. They drain what is left
- Do not keep turning the key. Repeated cranking drains the battery further
- Leave the hood closed until the technician arrives if you are near traffic
- Have the key or fob with you so the car can be started once it has power
Locked out
Stay with the vehicle and do not try to force a door, a lock, or a window. A broken window is a bigger problem than a locked door. Have your ID handy, plus something that shows the vehicle is yours. The registration in your name or a rental agreement works. It is a practical habit, not a hurdle.
Lost keys, a broken key, or a fob that needs programming is a job for a dealer or locksmith. We say so on the phone so you do not wait on us for a fix we cannot do.
Out of gas
Pull as far off the travel lanes as you can and put hazards on. If you are on I-4, US-27, or the Turnpike with traffic close, stay belted in the car. Do not walk along the highway for fuel. Tell us what the car takes, gas or diesel, and roughly where the nearest station is.
We bring enough fuel to get you to the pump. Fill the tank there. The delivery is a bridge to the station, not a fill-up.
Where we can help
Driveways, apartment and hotel lots, theme park area lots, workplaces, job sites, and highway shoulders where it is safe to stop. Visitors near the parks often call from an unfamiliar rental car. We help there too. A tire problem instead? Our mobile tire repair page covers flats, punctures, and slow leaks.
