Mobile Tire Repair Cost
What Mobile Tire Repair Costs Depends On
There is no price list on this page, and there is a reason. The number depends on the tire, the fix, and where the car is. Emergency Mobile Tire Repair explains pricing before any work begins, and quotes are estimates until the technician sees the tire. This page explains what moves the number and how the quote works.
- Pricing explained on the call, before anyone is dispatched
- The quote is an estimate until the technician inspects the tire at the car
- No work starts until you approve it
- After-hours and long-distance jobs may vary. We say so up front
How the quote works
Why There Is No Price List Here
A flat tire is not one job. A nail in the tread of a sedan tire in a driveway is a different job from a low-profile tire on a large wheel on a highway shoulder after midnight. One number would be wrong for most callers, so we quote each job instead.
Here is what stays the same on every call. You describe the situation. We explain pricing before dispatch. The technician inspects the tire at the car, and the quote stays an estimate until then. You approve before work starts, and payment is due at the time of service.
This page walks through what moves the number for a repair, what adds to it for a replacement, and what you are not paying for when the problem is solved where the car sits. If you are weighing mobile service against a tire shop or a tow, that comparison has its own page.

What the process protects
What You Do Not Have to Worry About
The quote process is built so the number is not a surprise. Each item here is how we work on every job.
No work without your approval
The technician explains the plan and the quote at the car. Nothing starts until you say yes.
Pricing explained before dispatch
You hear how the job is priced on the first call, not after the van arrives.
An estimate that changes only for a stated reason
If the inspection finds something the phone call could not, you hear why before anything changes.
After-hours and distance named up front
If the time of day or the drive affects the quote, we say so on the call, not on the invoice.
A trip fee explained before it applies
A cancellation after a technician has been dispatched may carry a trip fee. Tell us early if plans change.
Cost drivers
What Moves the Number
These are the things the technician weighs. Most are known on the call. The rest are confirmed at the car.
The kind of fix
A plug and patch done from the inside means dismounting the tire, inspecting it, and remounting. A valve stem or pressure fix is a smaller job.
Learn moreWhether the tire was driven flat
The inside may be damaged. The inspection can turn a repair into a spare install or a replacement, and the quote follows the new plan.
Tire size and wheel type
Low-profile tires and large wheels take more work to dismount and remount. The sidewall photo tells us before we roll.
Where the car is
Distance from Clermont and Four Corners, and a highway shoulder versus a driveway. Long-distance jobs may vary.
Time of day
After-hours calls are answered depending on technician availability, and after-hours jobs may vary. You hear it on the call.
How many tires
Two tires down after one pothole is a different job from one puncture. Tell us everything you saw.
For a replacement, the tire itself
Size, type, and who supplies it. Mounting where available, balancing where available. Ask about disposal of the old tire and TPMS sensors on the call.
Learn more
Repair availability depends on tire condition, damage location, tire size, and safety. If the tire cannot be safely repaired, we help with the next best option.
The quote process
From Your Call to Payment
- 01
Call and describe the situation
Location, what happened, spare or no spare, and a sidewall photo if you can take one safely.
- 02
Hear how the job is priced
We explain pricing before dispatch and give an honest ETA when a technician is available. Ask anything now.
- 03
The technician inspects the tire
The quote is an estimate until this step. Damage location, size, and condition confirm the plan or change it.
- 04
You approve, then work starts
If the inspection changed anything, you hear why first. No work begins without your yes.
- 05
Pay at the time of service
Payment is due when the job is done. You drive away knowing what was done and why.

Repair, Replacement, or Spare Install
Three different jobs with three different sets of cost drivers. No numbers here on purpose.
| Criteria | Repair on site | Replacement | Spare install |
|---|---|---|---|
| What drives the cost | The kind of fix, tire size and wheel type, and whether the tire was driven flat | The tire itself, mounting where available, and balancing where available | The install, the distance, and the time of day |
| What is included | Dismount, inside inspection, plug and patch, remount, and inflation | Replacement labor where we are. The tire is arranged with you | Your spare on and inflated, pressure set |
| What is not included | A tire the inspection rules out. Then we move to the next option | Alignment. Disposal of the old tire, ask on the call | A new tire. The spare is a bridge with its own limits |
| When it applies | Puncture in the tread, within repair limits, tire in good condition | Sidewall or shoulder damage, a tire driven flat, worn tread, or no spare | Damage cannot be repaired and the spare is roadworthy |
| What can change the quote | The inspection finds damage inside the tire | The size or type is hard to source | The spare is flat or unsafe and needs another plan |

We explain pricing before any work begins. Quotes are estimates until the technician sees the tire.
The fine print, in plain words
Terms, After-Hours, and Distance
The three lines from our terms that matter here
Quotes are estimates until the technician inspects the vehicle on site. Payment is due at the time of service. A cancellation after a technician has been dispatched may carry a trip fee.
The trip fee exists because a dispatched technician is already on the road to you. If your plans change, call as soon as you know. The full terms page has the rest.
Why after-hours and distance can change the number
Our published hours are on the contact page. Calls outside them are answered depending on technician availability, and after-hours jobs may vary. Distance works the same way. Our normal range is roughly 50 miles or an hour from Clermont and Four Corners.
Outside that range, call anyway. We may make an exception or point you to the right help. If we come, you hear on the call how the distance affects the quote.
What you are not paying for
- A tow to a shop, when the fix is possible where the car sits
- Time in a waiting room while the car is on a lift
- A second trip. A repair, spare install, or replacement happens in one visit when the tire allows it
That is decision support, not a sales pitch. Mobile service is not the right call for every problem. Alignment, several damaged tires, and wheel damage are shop jobs. Our mobile versus shop page covers when the shop or a tow is the better route.
What to have ready for an accurate quote
- Your location: an address, a mile marker, or a nearby business
- A photo of the tire sidewall. It gives us the size and type
- Whether you have a spare, and whether it holds air
- What happened, and whether the car was driven on the flat
- How many tires are affected
Cost questions
Questions About the Quote
Do prices change after hours?
After-hours and long-distance jobs may vary. We explain pricing before work begins.
Do you repair tires or replace them?
Both, when safe. If a tire can be safely patched or plugged, we repair it on site. Otherwise we help with replacement. The quote follows the option, and you hear it before work starts.
What if I'm outside your normal service area?
Call anyway. Depending on time, availability, and your situation, we may make an exception or point you to the right help. Long-distance jobs may vary, and we say so on the call.
What if I don't know my tire size?
No problem. Send a photo of the tire sidewall or call us and we will help you read it. Size is one of the things the quote depends on, so the photo makes the estimate more accurate.
